Until 2005, when I was thrust into the world of management, my career has been that of a contract programmer. On the plus side, I've been able to work at all sorts of companies on all sorts of projects. On the minus side, I don't own most of the code I've written, so there isn't a whole lot I can offer in the way of source code. But here are some documents I've gathered over the years. Hope you find them of use.

Several years ago I was involved with the
Wrox Press book
Professional Perl Development. You can
order the book from amazon.com. The book is a companion to
Professional Perl Programming (also by Wrox), and covers client/server programming with Perl using databases and web servers, network and distributed programming, graphics, and other advanced Perl programming topics.
